About B2R

B2R started with a book. Eric Swartz, a runner and cyclist from Alpharetta, Georgia, read Christopher McDougall's Born to Run and wanted the training behind it. He contacted Eric Orton, the coach in the book, who works from a simple principle: the best runners are the best athletes. The B2R team then researched, designed and developed the B2R Training System, which brings together three things most running programs treat separately: foot management, strength training and technique.

Stronger from the ground up

  • [B2R] aims to strengthen the entire foot, which as yogis and martial artists know, strengthens the entire body. After runs on the Mesa Trail and working with [B2R's] DVD and strengthening platform, I'm sold.

  • The results, particularly in the area of stability, were incredible. It's a great supplementary program that I'll be using for a long time.

  • The Slant Board is very solid and built in such a way that it is much more challenging to balance on than it looks.
