Run form

Two free B2R instruction videos to start with today

Still from the B2R strength training instruction video

You do not have to wait for a bundle to see how B2R trains. Two public instruction videos from B2R show the strength work and the running form work that the full program builds on.

Video one: strength training instruction

This is the introduction to how B2R approaches strength for runners: build the foot and the core-balance first, then let that strength show up in the stride. Watch how the positions are held and how the instruction corrects form.

Video two: running form instruction

The Run Form section of the paid videos expands on this. Technique is the third leg of the B2R system alongside foot management and strength training, and this video shows the basics of what good form looks like.

How to use them before your bundle arrives

  1. Watch both once, without moving. Get the shape of the movements and the vocabulary.
  2. Film yourself running for thirty seconds. Compare what you see to the running form video. Most people spot one thing straight away.
  3. Clear a space. A firm floor with room to stand with poles either side is all the board needs.

What the paid videos add

The public videos are introductions. Each bundle's video gives in-depth instruction, an extensive library of exercises and a Run Form section that makes proper technique simple to understand. Level 1 introduces the Slant Wobble Board and balance poles; Levels 2 and 3 add the stability disks and progress to overall leg strength and power.

Where to find more. Both videos live on our Resources page, with more on the Born2Run YouTube channel.

Run form FAQ

Are these the same videos that come with the bundles?

No. These are public introductions. The bundle videos are the full program for each level and arrive by email after checkout.

Do I need any equipment to follow the free videos?

No. They are instruction, not workouts. The exercises in the program use the Slant Wobble Board, balance poles and, in Levels 2 and 3, the stability disks.

Where do I start if I want the full program?

Every runner starts at Level 1. Read which level to start with for the options.

The bottom line

Watch the two free videos, film your own stride and clear a space. When you are ready to train, the Level 1 bundle is where the program begins.
